The Singapore National Youth Orchestra invites young musicians aged 10 to 18 (as at the year of audition) to join us!
Positions are available in all orchestral sections: strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion.
Pianists aged 10 to 13 (as at the year of audition) who already demonstrate piano profienciency and are interested in mastering a second instrument, as well as young violinists who are keen to learn the viola are also welcome to apply for the auditions.
*NEW* Pre-Audition Video Screening
Thank you for your interest in joining the Singapore National Youth Orchestra. Due to the large number of audition applications received, we are implementing a video screening round for all applicants. Kindly note that only applicants who pass the video screening round will be notified to attend the live auditions.

11 December 2024 Auditions – with Video Submission
The next round of SNYO Auditions will be held on 11 December 2024 – do check this page again in September 2024 for further details. You will be required to submit a link to your video in the application form which will be published on this webpage. Please ensure that you have read our updated Audition Guidelines on the video submission requirements.
We seek your understanding that the SNYO is unable to provide feedback regarding all auditions due to the high volume of audition applications that we receive.
